Understanding Your NDIS Plan
Your NDIS plan is built around your individual goals. Plan reviews are a normal part of the NDIS — an opportunity to ensure your supports remain aligned with your life.
Funded Supports
When you become a participant in the NDIS, you will receive a plan which funds reasonable and necessary supports that assist you in your daily living and help you achieve your personal goals.
Plan Reviews
Plan reviews are a normal part of the NDIS. Your plan review will help you to measure your progress against your personal goals, explore new goals, and identify any changes in your life.
Providing Feedback
During your plan review, you will be able to provide feedback on what supports are working for you and how you are progressing in achieving your goals — so your plan evolves with you.
Accessing the NDIS
Check the current NDIS access requirements directly with the NDIA. Relief Wakes cannot decide eligibility, approve a plan or confirm whether a support will be funded.
The NDIA considers age, residence, and the disability requirements, early intervention requirements or both. Applicants must provide evidence for each applicable requirement.
As you prepare to access the NDIS, you might like to work with a family member, friend, or carer, an NDIS local area coordinator, early childhood partner, your doctor, or other health professional.
The NDIA may request supporting evidence from a treating professional. The NDIA—not Relief Wakes—decides access and funding.
