Relief Wakes, a registered NDIS provider (Provider No. 4053361903), is inviting expressions of interest from compassionate, reliable Disability Support Workers for participant-matched casual opportunities across Redbank Plains, Ipswich, Springfield, Gatton and the Lockyer Valley, and Brisbane.
What the work may include
- Community access and social participation
- Personal care and daily living support
- Household tasks and meal preparation
- Skill development and independence
- Participant transport during support where authorised
- Accurate case notes and incident reporting
- Following support plans, privacy requirements, safeguarding obligations and the NDIS Code of Conduct
Who we are looking for
- Respectful, person-centred communication and a commitment to participant choice and dignity
- Disability, community services, aged-care or relevant lived/professional experience
- Ability to clearly state your available days, times and preferred service areas
- Ability to follow support plans, workplace procedures and maintain accurate records
- Legal right to work in Australia
- Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain before commencing relevant duties
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Worker Screening clearance for applicable risk-assessed roles
- Blue Card where child-related work applies
- Police check where required for the role
- Current driver licence, vehicle and required insurance evidence where driving is part of the role
Employment and pay
Opportunities are casual and participant-matched. Pay and conditions will be applied under the applicable Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS Award) classification, including applicable penalties and allowances.
