Our Objectives
To reduce the crisis men experience in our society, particularly the
homelessness.
Homelessness can stem from things like abuse, job loss and relationships
break down.
By giving the homeless men a safe place to stay, provide professional
support so that they may have a better understanding on abuse of men
and their human rights.
We are prepared to challenge outstanding issues like unemployment,
disability, mental health and changing the way the community views
these issues towards men. To remove the stigma on being poorly judged
by society, giving them the support, they need to move forward.

What Are Some Causes of Homelessness

When people run into difficulties and struggles through life it can be a hard task to admit some of their problems. Homelessness can be be caused from a range of issues from poverty to unemployment a shortage of affordable housing, family breakdown, mental illness, sexual assault, addiction, financial difficulty, gambling or social isolation. Domestic violence is the single biggest cause of homelessness in Australia.

The Program
Achieve Crisis Support is under the umbrella of Project Man Cave
Program. It is designed to help Homeless men, most at risk and protect
the most vulnerable.
Homelessness is one of the growing concerns about men having higher
suicide rate unfortunately, many are too ashamed to speak up, we need to
change this, give these men a voice.
Sometimes the people you think are the strongest, are the ones that need
help the most.
Engaging with our local community with our Achieve Crisis Support for
the Homeless Men, we offer a variety of services. Primarily ‘Emergency
accommodation’, this is a shared community housing program; these are
furnished homes with shared facilities that are at a reduced cost.
Opening the doors to the homeless men includes meals, bed, fresh linens
and clothing if required. We can provide Professional services according to their
needs, One to One (coaching & mentoring) and referrals to mental health
services if required. We have Male group support, Support workers, Male
activities, and Workshops.
